Overview
The DP83826 can provide very low deterministic latency and low power consumption, and support the 10BASE-Te and 100BASE-TX Ethernet protocols, meeting the strict requirements of real-time industrial Ethernet systems. This device includes hardware autonegotiation for fast link establishment, a fast link loss detection mode, and a dedicated reference CLKOUT for clock synchronization of other modules on the system. There are two configurable modes: the BASIC standard Ethernet mode using the general Ethernet pin arrangement, and the ENHANCED Ethernet mode that supports the standard Ethernet mode and multiple industrial Ethernet fieldbus applications (through additional features and hardware autonegotiation configuration).
