Overview
The DS8403 series are low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulators featuring a wide input voltage range, low dropout voltage, low power consumption, and compact packaging. With a quiescent current of only 2µA, they are ideal for powering battery-operated always-on systems that require extremely low idle-state power consumption for extended battery life. Pulling the EN pin low activates shutdown mode, in which the typical shutdown current is only 100nA. This series of linear regulators remains stable with ceramic output capacitors across a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 40V and an output load current range of 0mA to 500mA.
