Overview
EG1242 is a cost-effective current-mode PWM controller designed for small to medium power flyback power supply applications. The EG1242 features built-in frequency jittering for excellent EMI performance. The chip employs green energy-saving mode and hiccup mode to control light-load and no-load conditions. The EG1242 incorporates comprehensive protection features: VCC undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VCC overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, overload protection, over-temperature protection, and soft-start.
