Overview
EG1252 is a cost-effective current-mode PWM controller suitable for medium and high power flyback and forward converter applications. The EG1252 features built-in frequency jittering for excellent EMI performance. The chip employs green energy-saving mode and hiccup mode to control light-load and no-load conditions. The EG1252 integrates comprehensive protection features: VCC under-voltage lockout (UVLO), VCC over-voltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, input under-voltage protection, overload protection, over-temperature protection, and soft-start.
