Overview
EG1397 is a high-performance controller for half-bridge topologies, including series resonant, parallel resonant, and LLC resonant controllers. It integrates a 650V half-bridge driver with minimal external components, simplifying PCB layout. EG1397 adopts a unique architecture featuring a up to 500kHz voltage-controlled oscillator with flexible control modes, enabling reliable and stable resonant-mode power supplies. EG1397 offers comprehensive protection features with configurable settings to accommodate a wide range of applications. These include: auto-recovery overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, soft-start, and optocoupler open/short-circuit protection. Configurable dead time prevents simultaneous conduction of the high-side and low-side MOSFETs, making it suitable for various power levels.
