Overview

EG3844 is a cost-effective current-mode PWM controller suitable for medium- and high-power flyback and forward converter power supply designs. The EG3844 features built-in frequency dithering for excellent EMI performance. The chip employs green energy-saving mode and hiccup mode to control light-load and no-load conditions. The EG3844 incorporates comprehensive protection features: VCC undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VCC overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, overload protection, over-temperature protection, and soft-start.
