Overview

The EMS4000 is a dual-channel, low-power, dual-port high-speed USB 2.0 analog switch with integrated protection, designed specifically for USB Type-C systems. The device is configured as a dual 2:1 or 1:2 switch, optimized for USB 2.0 DP/DM lines in USB Type-C systems. It integrates overvoltage protection on the C0+/- pins, capable of withstanding voltages up to DC 7V, and features an auto-shutdown circuit to protect downstream system components. The GPIO control logic for SEL and EN is 1.8V compatible. The EMS4000 is available in QFN 1.4x1.8-10L, QFN 1.5x2.0-10L, DFN3x3-10L, and MSOP-10L packages, and is lead-free and halogen-free, making it an ideal choice for mobile devices and space-constrained applications.
