Overview
ETA5050 is a fixed output voltage, 500mA output current, low-noise, fast transient response, high PSRR LDO regulator. It achieves a PSRR of up to 70dB with a quiescent current of approximately 37μA. As a result, the ETA5050 is an ideal power supply for noise-sensitive applications such as RF transmission, mobile phones, CMOS sensors, and audio equipment. The device consists of a precision voltage reference, an error amplifier, a compensation network, and a P-channel MOSFET power transistor with low on-resistance. It also integrates multiple protection circuits, including current limiting and over-temperature protection. The ETA5050 is available in a compact SOT23-5 package.
