Overview
FRTC8563 is a low-power clock/calendar chip with programmable square-wave output. Address and data are transferred serially via a two-wire bidirectional bus. The clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. End-of-month date is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including leap year correction. The clock operates in 24-hour format.
