Overview
GBI5130 is a low-noise, low-dropout linear regulator capable of delivering 4A output current at a maximum dropout voltage of only 160mV. The device offers two output voltage ranges: one pin-programmable from 0.5V to 2.075V in 25mV steps, and one adjustable from 0.5V to 5.15V via an external resistor divider. Its combination of low noise, high PSRR, and high output current capability makes it ideal for powering noise-sensitive components in high-speed communications, video, medical, or test and measurement applications — such as serializers/deserializers, ADCs, DACs, and RF components. For digital loads requiring low input and output voltage operation, the GBI5130's excellent accuracy, remote sensing, superior transient performance, and soft-start capability ensure optimal system performance.
