GM1640SS

GM1640 is an IC dedicated to LED display driver control. The chip integrates a MCU digital interface, data latches, and LED high-voltage driver circuitry. It operates over a voltage range of 2.8V to 5.5V and is fabricated using a power CMOS process. The chip features a built-in brightness adjustment circuit supporting 8-level duty cycle control, and communicates via a two-wire serial interface (CLK, DIN). The oscillation method uses an internal RC oscillator at 330kHz. The chip also integrates a power-on reset circuit and an automatic blanking circuit. It supports an 8-segment × 16-bit display mode, is suitable for common-cathode digit tube output, and is available in SSOP20, SOP/SSOP28, and DFN28 package options.
