Overview
GP8612X is a constant-voltage, constant-current primary-side feedback quasi-resonant turn-on control IC designed for chargers and adapters. It employs a proprietary output line-loss compensation technique to effectively compensate for the voltage drop caused by output current through the cable. The built-in loop compensation circuit eliminates the need for external compensation, ensuring good system stability. The GP8612X achieves excellent CV/CC characteristics with standby power consumption below 75mW. The IC integrates multiple protection features, including open-circuit, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection, and is available in a SOP7 package.
