Overview
GP8632SX is a primary-side feedback valley-switching control IC with constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) regulation, designed for chargers and adapters. It features a proprietary output cable loss compensation technology that effectively compensates for the voltage drop caused by output current across the output cable. The IC integrates an internal loop compensation circuit, eliminating the need for external compensation components while ensuring excellent system stability. GP8632SX achieves superior CV/CC characteristics and meets the standby power consumption requirement of less than 75mW. The IC provides multiple protection features, including open-circuit protection, overvoltage protection (OVP), and short-circuit protection. GP8632SX is available in an SOP7 package.
