Overview
GP8645H is a high-performance AC/DC power control switch designed for chargers and adapters. This IC adopts primary-side feedback and control, achieving 4% CC/CV accuracy without optocouplers or TL431. PFM control is employed during constant-current operation, while a PFM/PWM multi-mode composite control scheme is used during constant-voltage operation. In addition, the IC integrates output cable compensation, helping to reduce switching losses, simplify system EMI design, and optimize output characteristics. The GP8645H provides soft-start, audio noise cancellation, and multiple protection features, including auto-restart, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, VCC OVP/UVP, pin open/short-circuit protection, and drive clamp protection. This IC is available in a DIP7 package.
