Overview
A high-performance AC/DC power control switch designed for chargers and adapters. Employs primary-side feedback and control to achieve 4% constant voltage/constant current accuracy without optocouplers or TL431. Uses PFM control in constant current operation and composite PFM/PWM multi-mode control in constant voltage operation. Integrates output cable compensation to reduce switching losses, simplify system EMI design, and optimize output characteristics. Provides soft-start, audio noise suppression, and multiple protection features including auto-restart, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, VCC OVP/UVP, pin open/short circuit protection, and gate clamp protection. Available in SOP8 package.
