HG1622B is a 256-dot matrix memory-mapped multi-function LCD driver IC. Its S/W architecture makes it well-suited for dot matrix LCD displays, including LCD modules and display subsystems. HG1622B features a power-off function. HG1622B is a memory-mapped 32×8 dot matrix LCD controller/driver with a microcontroller interface. The circuit resets and clears on power-up. Operating states are configured via the command interface, and RAM data can be read, written, or modified through chip select, read, and write signals — driving the LCD display on a one-to-one correspondence basis. This IC is applicable to dot matrix LCD display driving. Since each SEG pin is independent and RAM data can be easily modified, the displayed dot matrix content is highly flexible and fully customizable by the user.
