HX1307-S

This serial real-time clock is a low-power, BCD-encoded clock/calendar module with 56 bytes of non-volatile SRAM. Address and data are transferred serially via the I2C interface. The clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day of week, date, month, and year information. For months with fewer than 31 days, the end-of-month date is automatically adjusted, including leap year correction. The clock supports 24-hour format or 12-hour format with AM/PM indication. The device incorporates a power-sense circuit that automatically switches to a backup power supply when the primary power fails, maintaining timekeeping and date information.
