This device is a power management SoC integrating multiple fast-charging protocols, a synchronous buck-boost converter, Li-ion battery charge management, and battery fuel gauge functions, providing a complete solution for fast-charging power banks. It supports multiple simultaneous USB ports, with fast charging available on any single port when used alone, and 5V-only output when multiple ports are active simultaneously. Its highly integrated design requires only a single inductor to achieve both buck and boost functions, significantly reducing the peripheral component count and helping to minimize solution size and BOM cost. The synchronous switching boost system delivers up to 22.5W output capability and automatically enters sleep mode under no-load conditions. The synchronous switching charge system supports 18W charging power, with a maximum battery-side charging current of 5.0A and built-in multiple control loops for intelligent charging current regulation. The device integrates TYPE-C and PD2.0/PD3.0 protocols, a 14-bit ADC, current sensing circuitry, and a fuel gauge algorithm to accurately measure and display battery capacity. It also supports multiple battery level display modes, lighting functions, button control, and an I2C interface.
