78MXX is a fixed-output linear three-terminal voltage regulator with a wide input voltage range. It integrates an internal reference voltage circuit along with overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection circuits, ensuring reliable operation. The output stage features low output impedance and is capable of delivering up to 1A of output current. The device has low quiescent current and is available in a TO-252-3 package.
