Overview
The L78LxxABUTR is a three-terminal positive voltage regulator. This series of regulators can deliver output currents up to 150mA. Built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown features make it essentially immune to overload. When used as a replacement for zener diode-resistor combinations, a significant improvement in output impedance is achieved, along with lower quiescent current.
