Overview
L7810 is a three-terminal positive voltage regulator available in TO220-3 and TO252-2 packages, offering multiple fixed output voltages suitable for a wide range of applications. The device integrates internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe operating area protection, making it exceptionally robust. With adequate heatsinking, output current can exceed 1.5A. Although primarily designed as a fixed voltage regulator, it can also be configured for adjustable voltage and current output using external components.
