LKP8283DF-ADJ

LKP8283DF is a series of low dropout linear regulators (LDO) powered by a 2.3V~6.5V supply, with a maximum output current of 2A. The device employs an advanced proprietary architecture to deliver high PSRR and ultra-low noise performance, achieving excellent line and load transient response with a single small 4.7μF ceramic output capacitor. LKP8283DF is available in fixed output voltage options and an adjustable version; startup time can be adjusted via the soft-start pin to control inrush current. Typical startup time with a 1nF soft-start capacitor is 1.0ms. Output noise is 6μV rms (10Hz~100kHz). Housed in an 8-pin 3mm×3mm DFN8 package, it provides not only an extremely compact solution but also excellent thermal performance for applications requiring up to 2A output current, with a low-profile and small PCB footprint. Under normal operating conditions, LKP8283DF uses the EN pin to enable and disable the VOUT output: VOUT turns on when EN is high, and turns off when EN is low. For auto-start, connect EN to VIN. The output voltage of the LKP8283DF series adjustable version can be set from 1.2V to VIN − VDOV by connecting resistor R1 from the SENSE pin to VOUT and resistor R2 to GND. For the fixed version, the SENSE pin is connected directly to VOUT.
