Overview
The LM1117IMP-xx/NOPB series is a low-dropout three-terminal linear regulator with a 1.3V dropout voltage at 800mA load current. Its standby current is extremely low at only 2mA, compared to 5mA for competing devices. In addition to fixed output voltage versions (1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V), an adjustable version is available, providing 1.25V to 12V output voltage with only two external resistors. The series features thermal shutdown to ensure stability of the IC and power system, and employs trimming technology to guarantee output voltage accuracy within 2%. Other accuracy grades (such as 1%) are available upon request. The device is available in a SOT-223 power package.
