LM1117 is a positive-voltage low-dropout linear voltage regulator in a three-terminal package, with a dropout voltage of 1.2V at 1A output current. The device is available in both fixed and adjustable output voltage versions. Fixed output voltages include 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V. The adjustable version offers 1% output voltage accuracy, while the fixed voltage versions offer 2% accuracy. The LM1117 integrates internal thermal shutdown and current limiting circuits, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic applications.
