Overview
The LM350H is an adjustable 3-terminal positive voltage regulator capable of supplying in excess of 1.5A over a 1.20V to 37V output voltage range. This voltage regulator is exceptionally easy to use, requiring only two external resistors to set the output voltage. In addition, it employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation, making it inherently burn-out proof. The device is suitable for a wide range of applications, including local on-card regulation. It can also be used to make a programmable output regulator, or by connecting a fixed resistor between the adjustment and output terminals, as a precision current regulator. The LM350H series is available in TO220-3, TO252-2, TO263-3, and TO263-2 packages.
