LMR12015XSD/NOPB

The LMR120xx regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter in a 10-pin WSON package. The device integrates all active functions to deliver local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and precise regulation in the smallest possible PCB footprint. The LMR12015/20 is easy to use with minimal external components. The device drives 1.5A or 2A loads through an internal 150mΩ NMOS switch for optimal power density. The control circuit achieves on-times as low as 65ns, enabling extremely high-frequency conversion. The switching frequency is internally set to 2MHz and can be synchronized from 1 to 2.35MHz, allowing the use of very small surface-mount inductors and chip capacitors. Despite the high operating frequency, efficiency up to 90% is easily achievable. An external shutdown function is included with an ultralow shutdown current of 70nA. The LMR12015/20 employs peak current mode control and internal compensation to deliver high-performance regulation across a wide range of operating conditions. Additional features include an internal soft-start circuit to reduce inrush current, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
