LMR16020PDDAR

The LMR16020 is a 60V, 2A step-down regulator with an integrated high-side MOSFET. The device features a wide input voltage range of 4.3V to 60V, making it suitable for regulating unregulated power supplies across a variety of applications from industrial to automotive. The regulator's quiescent current of 40µA in sleep mode makes it ideal for battery-powered systems. A ultra-low shutdown current of 1µA further extends battery life. The regulator's wide adjustable switching frequency range allows optimization of either efficiency or external component size. Internal loop compensation eliminates the tedious task of designing loop compensation components while minimizing the number of external components. A precision enable input simplifies regulator control and system power sequencing. In addition, the device incorporates multiple protection features: cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal sensing and thermal shutdown protection against excessive power dissipation, and output overvoltage protection. The LMR16020 is available in an 8-pin HSOIC package with an exposed pad for low thermal resistance.
