Overview
The LN1138 series are high-speed, low-dropout, high-accuracy output voltage, low quiescent current positive voltage regulators developed using CMOS technology. Due to the built-in low on-resistance transistor, the dropout voltage is low, enabling large output currents. A built-in reverse current protection circuit limits the current through the low on-resistance transistor when the output voltage exceeds the input voltage, thereby protecting the IC from damage. To prevent the load current from exceeding the current capacity of the output transistor, overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection circuits are integrated.
