Overview
LP5312 is a power switch device that provides multiple protections for systems and loads subject to high-current and input overvoltage conditions. The device integrates a 270mΩ MOSFET and operates over an input voltage range of 3.0V to 36V. When the voltage on VIN exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the overvoltage protection function disconnects VIN from VOUT. When the current reaches the threshold, the device turns off the power FET to prevent damage from excessive current. The device integrates thermal shutdown protection, which turns off the MOSFET when the temperature exceeds the threshold to prevent device damage. The device is available in space-saving SOT23-6 and DFN-8 packages.
