This specification defines ROHM's high-power chip resistors <Wide Terminal Type> <Surge Resistant> "LTR10 EZP". The chip resistor marking specifications are as follows: (1) Marking method: Calculated numbering using three or four digits per IEC code, with "R" used as the decimal point. Examples: Four digits --- 100 kΩ = 1003, 10Ω = 10R0; Three digits --- 100 kΩ = 104, 10Ω = 100. (2) Marking orientation: Standard, marked on the resistor surface. (3) Marking color: Cream white marking or other suitable marking.

Key features

• Cover tape peel strength: 0.1N ≤ peel strength ≤ 0.6N
• When the cover tape is peeled off, the carrier tape shall not adhere to the cover tape; peeling direction is as shown below
• After 120 hours in an environment of 60±3°C and 90~95% (relative humidity), the cover tape shall not detach from the carrier tape
• Components shall be placed in the pockets with the same side facing up (resistor side up)
• Cumulative pitch tolerance over 10 pitches shall be within ±0.2mm
• When the tape is bent at a radius of 15mm, neither the tape nor the pockets shall be damaged
• Components in the pockets shall not adhere to the bottom tape/cover tape
• When components are removed from the pockets, they shall not be obstructed by tape fragments or foreign matter
• The cover tape shall not overlap the sprocket holes of the carrier tape
• The number of missing components shall not exceed 0.1% of the total component count (labeled quantity) or one piece, whichever is greater, and no more than two consecutive missing components are permitted
• The tape feed direction shall be as illustrated in the diagram below
• The leader tape is a section consisting of only the cover tape and empty pockets (no resistors)
• The trailer tape is a section of empty pockets (no resistors); the trailer tape shall not be secured to the reel with adhesive and must be of the type that can be easily pulled out from the reel
