Overview
It is a microprocessor reset IC with power-on and power-off detection, designed to monitor microcontrollers or other logic systems. When the supply voltage drops below the preset detection voltage, the device asserts a reset signal until the supply voltage recovers above the detection threshold. For this series, when the input voltage falls below the detection voltage, the VRESET output goes HIGH, offering simple application with no external components required.
