The ME6231 series are 18V-rated, low-power, high-PSRR, high-accuracy LDO linear regulators fabricated in CMOS process. The ME6231 series integrates a fixed voltage reference, thermal protection, current limiting circuit, phase compensation circuit, and a low on-resistance MOSFET, achieving high ripple rejection, high accuracy, and low dropout performance. The ME6231 series is compatible with ceramic capacitors that are smaller in size than tantalum capacitors, and requires no 0.1μF bypass capacitor, further saving board space. The fast transient response of the ME6231 series handles load current fluctuations effectively, making it particularly suitable for handheld and RF applications. The output can be shut down via the CE pin, with a shutdown quiescent current of only 0μA.
