Overview
The MG6222 regulator features low dropout voltage and ultra-low standby current. With a quiescent current as low as 1.5uA at no load, it is ideal for MCU systems, particularly always-on applications such as portable and other battery-powered systems. The MG6222 retains all common LDO characteristics, including a low-dropout PMOS pass device, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The MG6222 offers a maximum recommended operating voltage of 6V, ±2% output voltage tolerance, and output voltage options as low as 1.2V. The MG6222 is available in a SOT23-5 SMT package.
