Overview

The MG6228 regulator features low dropout voltage, high PSRR, and ultra-low standby current. With a quiescent current as low as 0.5uA at no load, it is ideal for MCU systems, especially always-on applications such as portable and other battery-powered systems. The MG6228 retains all common LDO characteristics, including a low dropout PMOS pass device, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The MG6228 supports a maximum operating voltage of 6V and ±2% output voltage tolerance, with selectable output voltages as low as 1.8V. The MG6228 is available in SOT89-3, SOT23-3, SOT23-5, and DFN1X1-4L surface-mount packages.
