Overview
The MS1117-xxx series are low-dropout linear regulators with a 1.3V dropout voltage at 1A load current. Standby current is extremely low, with a typical value of 2mA. In addition to fixed output voltage versions (1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V), the MS1117-xxx also offers an adjustable output version that provides 1.25V to 12V output voltage using only two external resistors. The series features thermal shutdown to ensure stability of the IC and power system, and employs trimming technology to guarantee output voltage accuracy within 2%. Other accuracy grades (e.g., 1%) are available upon request. The MS1117-xxx is offered in SOT-223, TO-252, and SOT89 power packages.
