MS1631

MS1631 is a single-channel video buffer with an integrated 6 dB gain rail-to-rail output driver and 6th-order output reconstruction filter. The device features a typical -3 dB bandwidth of 72 MHz and a slew rate of 400 V/μs. Compared to solutions using passive LC filters with external drivers, the MS1631 delivers superior image quality. It operates from a single supply of +2.5 V to +5.5 V with an ultra-low operating current of only 14.5 mA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The input signal can be sourced from a DAC output, supporting either DC-coupled or AC-coupled input configurations. Internally integrated diode clamping and bias circuitry support AC-coupled inputs. In addition, the MS1631 incorporates an internal level-shift circuit to prevent sync pulse clipping and allow DC-coupled output. The output can drive DC- or AC-coupled single (150 Ω) or dual (75 Ω) loads. The device is available in a SOT23-6 package with 8 kV ESD protection.
