Overview

MS8010GQW is a high-efficiency, high-frequency synchronous buck DC-DC regulator IC capable of delivering up to 1.3A output current. The device operates over a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 6V and integrates both main and synchronous switches with ultra-low on-resistance R_DS(ON) to minimize conduction losses. It is well suited for powering portable devices running from a single-cell Li+ battery. The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.6V. The MS8010GQW also supports 100% duty cycle operation for low dropout performance, extending battery life in portable systems. The device offers two operating modes — PWM mode and PFM mode switching control — to achieve high efficiency across a wide load range. The MS8010GQW is available in a DFN2x2-6L package in an adjustable output version.
