Overview
The MSTPS563200DDCR is a synchronous buck converter utilizing fixed on-time (COT) control technology. Its main control loop operates in COT mode, supporting low-ESR ceramic capacitors and enabling fast transient response without external compensation components. At a 1.2V output voltage, the output voltage deviation is only 50mV during 0 to 3A load transients. This technology enables seamless transition between heavy-load PWM mode and light-load operating mode, maintaining high efficiency under light-load conditions. The device operates over an input voltage range of 4.0V to 16V, with an adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 6V. Additionally, soft-start time is adjustable, and the device integrates over-temperature protection, under-voltage protection, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
