Overview

2263 is a highly integrated current-mode PWM control IC optimized for high-performance, low standby power, and cost-effective offline flyback converters, supporting output power systems up to 60W. The PWM switching frequency is internally fixed at 65KHz. Under no-load or light-load conditions, the IC operates in "Burst Mode" to minimize switching losses, achieving lower standby power consumption and higher conversion efficiency. Due to the extremely low startup and operating currents, high-value resistors can be used in the startup circuit to minimize standby power dissipation. The 2263 provides comprehensive protection features, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, over-temperature protection, overvoltage clamping, and VDD undervoltage lockout. The gate output is clamped to 16V to protect the power MOSFET gate.
