2269 is a high-performance, highly integrated current-mode PWM controller designed for medium-to-large offline flyback converter applications. The PWM switching frequency is internally trimmed to a precise range. To improve EMI performance, the IC integrates a frequency jitter function to reduce conducted EMI emissions from the power supply. The IC also integrates a constant power limiting module, enabling constant output power limiting across an input voltage range of 90VAC to 264VAC. Under light-load conditions, the green mode function continuously reduces the switching frequency. Under no-load conditions, the power supply enters burst mode, delivering excellent efficiency with no audio noise. This green mode function enables the power supply to meet international energy-saving requirements. The 2269 integrates UVLO, VDD OVP, soft-start, externally programmable OTP, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, OLP, open-pin protection, RI pin-to-GND short-circuit protection, gate clamp, VDD clamp, and leading-edge blanking. In this device, all protection functions operate in auto-recovery mode. The 2269 is available in SOP-8 and DIP-8 packages.
