Overview
PCF8563 is a low-power CMOS real-time clock/calendar IC featuring a programmable clock output, interrupt output, and power-down detector. All functions are communicated serially via the I²C bus interface. The maximum bus speed is 400 Kbits/s, and the built-in word address register increments automatically with each read or write operation.
