PN8370SSC-R1H

The PN8370 integrates an ultra-low standby power quasi-resonant primary-side controller with a 650V high-avalanche-capability smart power MOSFET, designed for high-performance chargers, adapters, and built-in power supplies with minimal external components. Operating in primary-side feedback mode, the PN8370 eliminates the need for an optocoupler and TL431. The built-in high-voltage startup circuit enables a no-load power consumption (at 230VAC) of less than 30mW. In CV mode, quasi-resonant and multi-mode technologies are employed to improve efficiency and eliminate audio noise, enabling the system to meet Level VI energy efficiency standards; an adjustable output line compensation function provides excellent load regulation. In CC mode, the output current and power can be adjusted via a resistor on the CS pin. The IC offers comprehensive intelligent protection features, including cycle-by-cycle OCP, OVP, open-loop protection, OTP, output short-circuit protection, and CS open/short-circuit protection.
