PN8680PSEC-R1

The PN8680P integrates an ultra-low standby power primary-side controller with a 650V high-avalanche-capability smart power MOSFET, designed for high-performance chargers, adapters, and built-in power supplies with minimized peripheral component count. Operating in primary-side feedback mode, the PN8680P eliminates the need for an optocoupler and TL431. The built-in high-voltage startup circuit enables a no-load chip power consumption of less than 50mW at 230VAC. In CV mode, multi-mode technology improves efficiency and eliminates audio noise, allowing the system to meet Level VI energy efficiency standards; the adjustable output line compensation feature provides excellent load regulation. In CC mode, the output current and power can be adjusted via a resistor on the CS pin. The device offers comprehensive intelligent protection features, including cycle-by-cycle OCP, OVP, open-loop protection, OTP, output short-circuit protection, and CS open/short-circuit protection.
