Overview
The RT9070B is a high-voltage (operating voltage 70V), low quiescent current, low dropout linear regulator. The device provides 20mA output current with a maximum dropout voltage of 230mV. Its low quiescent and shutdown currents (23μA in active mode, 3μA in shutdown mode) make it ideal for battery-powered and/or high-voltage systems. Ground current is well controlled under all conditions, including dropout. The RT9070B works with any reasonable output capacitor, including 1μF low-ESR ceramic capacitors. It features excellent line and load transient response. Internal protection circuits include reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal shutdown, and reverse current protection. The RT9070B features an adjustable output voltage (1.25V to 60V) and is available in a SOT-23-5 package.
