RTL8305NBI-VB-CG is a single-chip 5-port 10/100M Ethernet switch controller. The device integrates five PHY transceivers supporting 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX operation, a high-performance non-blocking switch engine, a lookup table for address learning and forwarding, and a management interface for configuration and status monitoring. The chip features an advanced low-power design with an integrated on-chip LDO regulator to simplify external power supply design. It supports a wide range of advanced features including VLAN, QoS, bandwidth control, storm filtering, and loop detection, making it well-suited for building cost-effective, feature-rich network switching solutions.
