This standard applies to the specifications of wirewound fusible resistors used in electronic equipment such as electric light sources, switching power supplies, chargers, and household appliances. Wirewound fusible resistors are designated as RXF, with power rated in Arabic numerals. Nominal resistance values are expressed in units of Ω, KΩ, or MΩ. Tolerance is measured by the bridge method at room temperature and shall be within the specified resistance tolerance; ±5% tolerance may be omitted by default. Rated power is the maximum continuous operating power at an ambient temperature not exceeding 70°C; when the ambient temperature exceeds this value, the rated power is derated according to the derating curve. Rated voltage refers to the DC or AC voltage (RMS value at commercial frequency) corresponding to the rated power. The substrate is a ceramic rod; terminals are tin-plated copper strips for electrical use. The resistor body is encapsulated in black flame-retardant insulating compound (rated to 300°C), with a robust exterior resistant to cracking. The resistance value and company code are laser-marked on the surface of the resistor body. Operating temperature range: -25°C~155°C.
