This standard applies to the specifications of wirewound fusible resistors used in electronic equipment such as electric light sources, switching power supplies, chargers, and household appliances. Wirewound fusible resistors are designated as RXF, with power ratings expressed in Arabic numerals. Nominal resistance values are expressed in units of Ω, KΩ, or MΩ. Tolerance is measured by the bridge method at room temperature and shall be within the specified tolerance of the rated resistance value; ±5% tolerance may be omitted by default. The rated power is the maximum power applicable for continuous use at an ambient temperature of 70°C or below; when the ambient temperature exceeds this value, the rated power decreases according to the derating curve. The rated voltage refers to the DC or AC (RMS value at commercial frequency) voltage corresponding to the rated power. Dimensions are not specified. Regarding construction: the substrate is a ceramic rod, the terminals are tin-plated copper strips for electrical use, and the resistor body is encapsulated in black flame-retardant insulating compound (rated to 300°C), providing a robust, crack-resistant exterior. The resistance value and company code are laser-marked on the surface of the resistor body. The operating temperature range is -25°C ~ 155°C.
