Overview

SD4923E is an Ethernet Powered Device (PD) controller IC compliant with IEEE 802.3 af/at standards. The chip provides detection, classification, and inrush current limiting functions for PDs in Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems. The chip integrates an internal power MOSFET rated at 100V with an on-resistance of 0.6Ω, supporting a maximum operating current of 850mA. The chip features built-in undervoltage protection and over-temperature protection, and provides an active-high power-good signal.
