Overview
SD4938 is a current-mode PWM controller with an integrated 150V high-voltage MOSFET for switching power supplies. SD4938 features a built-in high-voltage startup circuit. Under light-load conditions, it enters hiccup mode to effectively reduce system standby power consumption. A frequency reduction function further optimizes conversion efficiency under light-load conditions. A soft-start function reduces device stress and prevents transformer saturation. SD4938 also integrates protection functions for various fault conditions, including: VDD undervoltage protection, VDD overvoltage protection, leading-edge blanking, output overload protection, overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, etc. Once protection is triggered, the circuit continuously auto-restarts until the system returns to normal operation.
