Overview
SE809 is a cost-effective system supervisory IC designed for VCC monitoring in digital and mixed-signal systems. It provides a warning signal when the system supply voltage goes out of operating range, and delivers a reset signal to the host processor when necessary. No external components are required. When VCC falls below the reset voltage threshold, the reset output is driven active within 20μsec. After VCC rises back above the reset threshold, the reset signal remains active for a minimum of 150msec. SE809 features an active-low RESET output, guaranteed valid with VCC as low as 1V. SE809 is optimized to reject fast transient glitches on the VCC line. The low supply current of 18μA makes it suitable for battery-powered applications. Output voltage ranges from 1.7V to 4.5V in 100mV increments. Standard voltage versions include 2.63V, 2.93V, 3.08V, 4.0V, 4.38V, and 4.63V.
